Strike a Match/Plant a Flower

Dreamland Syndicate urban action July 2020. We redesigned our early ‘active item’ these are matches filled with seeds so you can literally strike a match and/or plant a flower. The choice is yours. The action is yours.

Four different designs but the message stays the same. Find them in good cages around London and Warsaw. The seeds inside are of Mirabilis Jalapa - a flower cultivated by Aztecs for its medicinal and ornamental purposes. It does best in full sun and likes to open up at dusk. Expect mixture of colours on these beauties as it happens that even one individual flower has different shades simultaneously.
