TOPOLOGY: PART 1 (AAE) ANALOGUEATTITUDE

The fall 2021 collection is drifting between political and environmental. Warsaw/London based duo has described the release as a continuous investigation into possibilities of different ways of living by examining utopian projects of the modern times and searching for graphic ways of reinterpretation and re contextualisation of the images which could be seen in brand staples such as printed T-shirts and hoodies. 

AAE graphics feature a vast landscape of references ranging from historical (19th century anarchist painter Gustave Courbet), environmental (coral, frog, satellite photo of Earth) as well as counter-cultural (collage based on a seminal photo of Animal Liberation Front) drifting between historical analogues to the current situation using symbols and graphic design as a free medium analogous of montage ability to evoke multiple associations. 

The collection features CO2 neutral Eco T-shirt range, a variety of alternative fits (cropped T-shirts and hoodies, oversize track suits, double-pleated baggy, high-waisted straight leg pants) locally manufactured Made in Warsaw items (classic DS carry-over suit this time cut in corduroy), everyday travel essentials and headwear. 

The drop day is scheduled for the Friday 7th of October 12:00 CET via Dreamland Syndicate website and select stockists worldwide including Dover Street Market London, Superconscious Berlin and Comme Des Garçons Seoul.
