DS x Aleksandra Waliszewska

Dreamland Syndicate proudly presents a capsule collection collab with Aleksandra Waliszewska, one of the most acclaimed Polish artists today.

Waliszewska’s work seems to be governed by the logic of dreams. Her art is simultaneously subconscious and full of visual culture. The works are rarely titled nor explained, leaving the viewer unaided in the bizarre world of small and big stories of horror.

The artist has a clear affinity for motifs like fatalistic female figures, physical and sexual conflicts, bodily wounds, subculture references, vampiric behaviours, mythological creatures, hybridity of the body and some dark perversions. All that immersed in a psychodelic and gothic atmosphere. Waliszewska’a universe is not only populated by gloomy ghouls but also densely by cats – quite hellish figures indeed.

There is an aura of mystery around the artist herself - it is said she paints at least one artwork a day and is truly excited for her work to be featured on bikini bottoms.

The collection features a bomber jacket, bikini swimsuit, eight T-shirts, mesh dress and mesh top, oversized hoodie and cropped hoodie with patches, 6-panel and set of sew-it-yourself patches.
